No extra fees except a $15.00 in transit permit. We did the paper work in the office for the exact price we had agreed upon. We actually made time for a visit with friends in New York in the morning, to give a little flexibility for delays along the way. We had set up a delivery appointment for 1:00 pm on the Friday, and left for NY at 4:30 AM. As a bonus, while we had ordered a 2010, we received a 2011 for the same price. The trailer ended up arriving three weeks earlier than we had been promised (he said he'd rather be safe than have to make excuses). The driving time for us was 4 1/2 hours each way, compared to 9 hours to Holmans. Since this was back in March, and our RV season doesn't start until late May, we decided to order from Great Outdoors. Great Outdoors could order one from the factory, which would take about 2 1/2 months. Holmans had one on order that was to arrive in about a month. Neither Holmans or Great Outdoors had a trailer with the Russet interior on hand. After clearing it with his manager, the salesman (Andrew) said he could match the price. They asked me if I had any other prices, so I told them what Holmans were offering.
I had also discovered Great Outdoors RV in Fulton NY, so I contacted them as well. I contacted Holmans in Cincinnati OH for a price on a 2010 250RS. I'd like to share my buying experience with the Outbackers family.
